All of my life I’ve been infatuated with exercise and movement. Prior to COVID, I participated in sports like majorette dance, cheer, and some track and field and I loved them all! During highschool, I got diagnosed with scoliosis and had to go to Physical Therapy. The healing properties of exercise sparked my interest in a career in the health and exercise field!
However, my freshman year of college I surpassed the freshman 15 and gained 25lbs!  Through trial and error, I began to lose the weight, but it wasn’t until I got deeper into my coursework and obtained my certification that I really understood how I could help myself, and in turn, help others.
Now, Â I am currently a senior in college getting my B.S. in Kinesiology and with my certification in Personal Training, along with a glute specialist certification. No longer do I struggle to breathe when I walk up stairs, feel weighed down, or unhappy with what I see in the mirror.
